Antenna is proud to present Cuba, Now!, images from writer/photographer Richard Fleming's book Walking to Guantanamo, as well as a screening of an excerpt from the film in progress, Uprising-- Drums, Voice of Resistance with filmmaker William Sabourin O'Reilly.
Opening reception: Saturday January 9th, 6:00 - 9:00.
Book signing: Thursday, January 14th, 7:00 - 9:00
Cuba, Now! is part of a major citywide presentation of arts, music and culture related to Cuba-- Si Cuba!-- taking place in New Orleans this January through the spring of 2010. Organized by the Newcomb Art Gallery at Tulane University and the New Orleans Museum of Art, Si Cuba! is a collaborative venture between museums, universities, galleries and other arts organizations in New Orleans.
